Habitat for Humanity

Their motto is “We build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter”

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that supports low-income people from around the world by providing decent housing. They operated globally through campaigns in Europe, South America, and the Middle East. There, they rely heavily on volunteers for their campaigns.

Since its creation in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has helped nearly 40 million people. A good of 4.2 of them were only in 2021!

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s mission is to research advanced cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family's ability to pay.

Founded in 1962, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a pediatric treatment and research institution focusing on catastrophic diseases of children. Especially leukemia and other cancers. The hospital’s daily operating costs are approximately US$2.8 million, but patients do not have to pay for medical expenses.

It is located in Memphis, Tennessee.  And it is a non-profit medical company designated by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c) tax-exempt organization. St. Jude provides treatment for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults under 21 years of age. But also and in some cases up to 25 years of age.

New York Blood Center

As one of the most comprehensive blood centers in the world, the operation of the New York Blood Center consists of four parts.

  • Mainly provide the best quality blood and stem cell products as well as related medical and consulting services for hospitals and patients in the Greater New York metropolitan area
  • Carrying out the highest quality, novel, and innovative research in the fields of hematology, blood banking, and transfusion medicine, and cell therapy to promote the development of these fields and have a positive impact on public health
  • Develop products, technologies, and services in the fields of hematology, blood banks, blood transfusion medicine, and cell therapy, which may have a global humanitarian impact
  • Develop the next generation of leaders in these fields

Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals

The New York City Animal Mayors Alliance is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity established in 2003 with the goal of transforming New York City into a community for any healthy cat and dog.

Prior to the establishment of the alliance, the New York City Municipal Shelter System New York City Animal Care Center (ACC) had a real-time release rate of less than 25%.

Wheel of hope

Between 2005 and 2019, the Wheel of Hope transported more than 130,000 animals. In 2019, the alliance handed over the project to Best Friends Animal Society.

New York City Feral Cat Initiative

The alliance created the New York City Feral Cat Initiative (NYCFCI) to support the efforts of organizations and individuals dedicated to helping wild cats and stray cats through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), with the goal of humanely reducing the population of New York’s cats in the community. In 2019, the alliance transferred NYCFCI to Bideawee.
