3. The Orchid Show

The Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Gardens is an explosion of colours with designs by floral designer Jeff Leatham. The garden's conservatory transforms into a tunnel of hypnotic floral designs reminiscent of a look through a kaleidoscope. Expect exquisite orchid towers in orange, yellow and green and fields of white and purple orchids part of the kaleidosctopic tunnel. You can take a look at it here. There is also an evening event, allowing visitors to enjoy the display in the darkness with beautiful lights, comlimented by drinks and snacks available for purchase.

4. Easter Egg Hunt- grown folks edition

Who said that the Easter Egg hunt is only for kids? You can join the adults edition at Prospect Park Picnic House North and have just as much fun. Expect Easter Egg Roll, an Easter Egg Relay, Don't Spill the Beans and of course an Egg Hunt!

The hunt takes place on 16th April between 11am-2pm.
