When we are talking about movies, Central Park is probably one of the most popular movie destinations in the world. Did you know that there are above 200 movies filmed in Central Park after 1908?
On the tour, you will see the actual places where more than 40 moives are being filmed."Kramer vs. Kramer, the scene where Dustin Hoffman was teaching his son how to ride a bike was filmed in "The poet's Walk" or "The Mall" probably the most popular movie spot in the whole park. This place was used in movies like : "Vanilla Sky" withTom Cruise, "Maid in Manhattan" with Jeniffer Lopez, "Big Daddy" with Adam Sandler and many more.

If you have seen a romantic movie filmed in New York, definatelly there wouldl be at least one scene filmed in "The Poet's Walk". Another example is "Autumn in New York" with Richard Geare. The scene when he was walking hand-by-hand with Wynona Ryder. |

The next movie spot that we are going to visit is the "Stuart Little Pond". Yes, you are right this is not the real name, but the pond became popular with the boat race in StuartLittle II.
 |
The real name is "Conservatery waters". It's known with the little remote-control boats which is a great toy for elders. If you go there in the afternoon you will see bunch of adults with cigars, playing and racing with these little remote controlled boats. |
Our next stop will be "The heart of New York" or Bethesda fountain. They call it "The heart of New York" because it is situated in the geometrical center of the island. Standing just across the "The Poet's Walk", the fountain is the most visited spot in Central Park. It was used in so many movies that we are not going to be able to mention all of them here. Probably, the best-known is "Ransom" with Mell Gibson. There are also a lot of scenes from "Law and order" and of course "Sex and the city" that are being filmed there.
